A Connection With The Nature

Embroidered Leaves

Using a dried leaf as a canvas for embroidery is my way of connecting with nature – of slowing down and noticing. Each leaf, becomes a tiny art piece, reminding us to appreciate the often overlooked beauty around us.

Many of these leaves have been gathered on my travels, pressed between pages, carried home like souvenirs.

These pieces are fragile, yes – but they hold so much.
